The program suits up to 35 children in one session.

Two workshops can be delivered in one day.

The workshops are 2 hours long. 

Each young person chooses their puppet, and they keep that puppet throughout the workshop.

Young people learn through puppetry how to get out of difficult situations when being pressured to take drugs.

During discussion time, young people learn about drugs being dangerous, what it ruins, where the drugs are and how to get help.

 The young people act out a scenario where drugs are being offered to them.

Each is given a booklet to read, “Wee Melter”, and the spider puppet comes and finishes the program.

I also share true stories of young people who have struggled with addiction.

I am passionate about working with churches to reach unchurched young people in their local areas. I am flexible about what that might look like for different churches. I can work on short projects or longer projects, depending on the church.
